Becker Model History
Mercedes vehicles have almost exclusively used Becker - or Becker designed audio systems. For the most part, the models vary by year of production rather than any other feature. To get started in determining which model radio was authentic for your Mercedes, it is often best to start with your vehicle's model year. Note that for early production vehicles in any year, you may legitimately find your radio was the same as the prior year's radio due to manufacturing change rollouts.

Some of the radio photographs show the optional auxiliary input that Black Forest can add to your vehicle. This is not a stock Becker option. The input adapter is discretely located in your vehicle and allows third party audio connections, like a satellite radio or iPod direct connection while maintaining the full stock appearance of your classic Mercedes Becker radio.
